Leaking Roof Valley? Get It Repaired.
Roof valleys carry the largest volume of water on your roof — where two slopes meet — so when the valley lining cracks or gets blocked, leaks happen fast. Tell us what you're seeing and where your property is so we can help.

Roof Valley Repairs Where Two Slopes Meet
A roof valley is the internal angle where two roof slopes meet, and it channels a huge amount of rainwater — everything that runs off both slopes. The valley is lined with lead, GRP, or a proprietary valley trough, and that lining is what keeps the water flowing down rather than seeping through.
Valleys fail in a few ways: the lining cracks or splits, debris and moss block the flow so water backs up and overflows, or the tiles either side slip and expose the lining. A valley repair clears the blockage, renews or reseals the lining, and restores the channel so water runs freely again.

Common Roof Valley Problems
Water overflowing the valley in heavy rain
Cracked, split or holed valley lining
Moss and debris blocking the valley channel
Damp patches below the valley on the inside
Tiles either side of the valley slipped or out of line
Staining on the valley from repeated water flow
What's Involved in Valley Repair?
1. Describe the Leak
Tell us where the valley is leaking or blocked and where your property is so it can be inspected.
2. Inspect the Valley
The valley is checked for blockages, cracks in the lining, and slipped tiles restricting the flow.
3. Clear and Repair
Debris and moss are cleared, the lining is repaired or renewed, and any slipped tiles reset.
4. Restore the Flow
The valley is checked to confirm water runs freely down and away with no pooling or overflow.
Why Repair a Roof Valley?
Carry Water Safely Away
A clear valley channels the roof's largest water flow down and away rather than letting it back up.
Stop a Common Leak Source
Valleys carry so much water that any fault shows up fast. Repairing it stops leaks at a major weak point.
Prevent Hidden Damage
A blocked valley can overflow into the roof structure and cause damage before you see it inside.
Keep the Roof Flowing
Clearing moss and debris helps the whole roof shed water the way it was designed to.
